The Alamo is the most visited historic landmark of Texas and San Antonio. The Alamo, originally known as the Mision San Antonio de Valero is a 300-year-old historic Spanish mission of 18th century. It was the site of the famous Battle of the Alamo in 1836. The Alamo Church, Gift Shop, and grounds are free to visit. You can explore the mission with a free timed ticket or take one hour guided walking tour.

Admission

Admission is free. The Guided Tour is $15 per person. For military personnel (Active/Veteran) it is $10 per person. Children 8 and under are free.
