Colorado Springs Cheyenne Mountain Zoo

Cheyenne Mountain Zoo is a popular mountain Zoo located on Cheyenne Mountain. It is the highest zoo in America at an elevation of 6,714 feet. The 140 acres zoo is home to more than 750 animals of 150 different species with more than 30 species of endangered animals. The zoo exhibits include African Rift Valley, Encounter Africa, Australia Walkabout, Scutes Family Gallery, Bear Grottos, The Loft, Monkey Pavilion, Tapir Exhibit, My Big Backyard, Asian Highlands, Rocky Mountain Wild, Primate World, and Rocky Cliffs. Cheyenne Mountain Zoo also includes carousel ride and Mountaineer Sky Ride.
