Hammonasset Beach State Park is known for 2 miles of beach front on Long Island Sound. It is one of the popular beach attraction of Connecticut. The state park offers walking trails, bicycling, picnicking, swimming, and camping activities. The Meigs Point Nature Center offers exhibit space with observation deck and activities for park visitors.
