Yale Center for British Art holds the largest collection of British art outside the United Kingdom. The collection includes paintings, sculpture, drawings, prints, rare books, and manuscripts of British art and culture from the fifteenth century to today. Located in a building designed by architect Louis I. Kahn, the Center's collections include 2,000 paintings; 250 sculptures; 20,000 drawings; 3,000 photographs; and 35,000 prints.
