Abraham Lincoln Presidential Library and Museum is located in the state capital of Springfield, Illinois. It is one of the most visited presidential libraries. The museum documents the life of the 16th U.S. President, Abraham Lincoln. The Lincoln Presidential Library is a research library which houses books, papers and artifacts related to Lincoln's life and the American Civil War. The museum plaza has life-size figures of Lincoln's family welcoming visitors with the White House as a backdrop. Museum collection include pictures, artifacts and other memorabilia related to key events in Lincoln's life.
