Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore is located on the shore of Lake Superior in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. The park offers spectacular views of the 42 miles long hilly shoreline that includes picturesque rock formations, waterfalls, and sand dunes. Pictured Rocks is home to many of Michigan's waterfalls including 50 feet Munising Falls and Miners Falls, 60 feet Chapel Falls, and 75 feet Sable Falls. Other attraction include Grand Sable Dunes located at the eastern end of the Lakeshore. Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore offers variety of recreational activities including hiking, camping, kayaking, boating, swimming, scuba diving, and fishing. Winter activities include snowmobiling, ice climbing, and cross-country skiing.
