Monmouth Battlefield State Park is known for one of the largest historic battles of the American Revolution took place in the fields. The 1,818 acre park preservers 18th century landscape of farmland and fields. The state park includes miles of hiking and horseback riding trails, picnic areas, and a restored Revolutionary War farmhouse called the Craig House.
