Known as first zoo of America, Philadelphia Zoo is home to nearly 1,300 animals. The 42 acres zoo has variety of animal exhibits - African Plains, Bear Country, Big Cat Falls, Bird Valley, KidZooU, McNeil Avian Center, Outback Outpost, PECO Primate Reserve, Penguin Point, Reptile and Amphibian House, Small Mammal House and more. The zoo has more attractions including carousel, a ropes course, paddle boat lake, and children's petting zoo.
