Balmorhea State Park located on the San Solomon Springs is popular in visitors for world's largest spring-fed swimming pool. The 1.3-acre freshwater pool has a constant flow of 15 million gallons of water each day. The water temperature ranges from 72 to 76 Fahrenheit and it is up to 30 feet deep. The pool is open daily and offers swimming, snorkeling and scuba diving activities. There is no extra fee to access the pool. Other activities of the state park includes camping, picnicking, nature study and bird watch.
