Copper Breaks State Park

Copper Breaks State Park located south of Quanah features rugged terrain and two water bodies. The state park has two small lakes: Lake Copper Breaks and Big Pond. The lake offers boating, paddling, fishing and swimming recreation. The 60-acre Lake Copper Breaks has a small boat ramp. Visitors can bring kayak, canoe or small fishing boat. Copper Breaks State Park features 10 miles of hiking and biking trails. Other things to do at the park include camping, horseback riding, and stargazing. The state park also host monthly star parties April through November, as well as other night sky programs throughout the year.
