Houston Memorial Park

Memorial Park is the largest municipal park of Houston, Texas. The 1,500 acres urban park is located inside the 610 loop. Memorial Park is popular for walking and running throughout year. The park also includes Memorial Park Golf Course, Memorial Park Tennis Center, Memorial Park pool and fitness center, and Memorial Park ballfields. The 18-hole golf course is one of the best municipal golf course of Houston area. The Memorial Park Tennis Center features 18 courts, a practice wall, lockers, and shower facilities. The 33-meter rectangular Memorial Park Pool is free outdoor pool. The pool remains open during summer months from Memorial Day to Labor Day. The Memorial Park Fitness Center includes variety of free-weight and resistance equipment, lockers, and shower facilities. Memorial Park also has designated picnic loop with tables for outdoor picnicking.
