Lost Maples State Natural Area

Lost Maples State Natural Area located northwest of San Antonio features scenic hills and canyons, and the Sabinal River. The state park is very popular in tourist for its fall color. Lost Maples State Natural Area remains crownded when the fall colors peak in late October to early November. It has over 10 miles of hiking trails. The area is also home to a wide variety of birds. Park activities include hiking, camping, fishing, wildlife, backpack, stargaze, and bird watch.
