South Llano River State Park located in the Hill Country of Texas features bank of the South Llano River. The park protects and provides refuge for wildlife on the southwestern edge of the Hill Country. The park offers both water and land based recreation activities. The spring-fed and slow-moving water of South Llano River offers opportunity to swim, float, paddle, and fish. The state park has 23 miles of hiking and biking trails. Other park activities include camping, stargazing, bird watch and wildlife.
