Dickson Street located in downtown is the popular entertainment districts lined with bars, restaurants, and unique shops. Adjacent to the University of Arkansas campus, Dickson Street is home to the Walton Arts Center. Other near by attraction include TheatreSquared, Fayetteville Square, and farmer's market.
Botanical Garden of the Ozarks is located on the east side of Lake Fayetteville. The 44 acre park Botanical Garden of the Ozarks features a unique collection of twelve themed gardens: Founder's Garden, Japanese Garden, Vegetable & Herb Garden, Children's Garden, Education Cottage & Gardens, Butterfly Garden, Four Seasons Garden, Shade Garden, Sensory Garden, Ozark Native Garden, Rose and Perennial Garden, and Rock and Water Garden.
Wilson Park located in the center of the city is Fayetteville's popular oldest park. The Castle built in 1981 is the prime attraction of the park. The park features swimming pool, playgrounds, basketball court, softball filed, tennis courts, volleyball court, walking trail, and picnic areas.
The Clinton House is a historic house and museum. It was the home of Bill Clinton and Hillary Rodham until 1983. The house and museum includes photographs, historical documents and videos. The home exhibits includes artifacts and memorabilia from the various political campaigns and lives of the Clintons. First Ladies Garden behind the home is dedicated to Hillary Rodham Clinton.
Arkansas Air & Military Museum is an aviation and military museum located at Drake Field in Fayetteville. The museum collection includes display of aircraft, aviation artifacts, and military memorabilia from the earliest period to the present with special attention to items related to the state of Arkansas. The museum exhibits include Vietnam-era Army helicopters and a Navy carrier fighter.
Prairie Grove Battlefield State Park located in Prairie Grove commemorates the Battle of Prairie Grove fought on December 7, 1862. Confederate and Union forces clashed at the site resulted in 2,700 casualties during the American Civil War. The battle monument is the main attraction of the park. The state park features walking and driving tours, programs, and weekend events. Hindman Hall Museum of the park offers free admission and it includes artifacts recovered from the battle. A Civil War reenactment is held at the park during the first weekend in December every 2 years.
Lake Fayetteville reservoir is known for recreational activities on land and water. The lake offers an abundance of outdoor recreational activities. The lake has 4.4 mile nature trail around the lake. The area includes North Shore Park and disc golf course, Veterans Memorial Park, a Boat Dock and Marina, Lake Fayetteville Softball Complex, boat and bike rentals, and the Botanical Garden of the Ozarks.
Walton Arts Center is a performing arts center located near the campus of the University of Arkansas. The center host musicals, plays, and other artistic and educational events throughout the year.
Fayetteville Farmers Market is known for fresh locally grown produce and goods. Located in Fayetteville Historic Square, the market has over 60 vendors offering vegetables, fruits, flowers, plants, meats, baked goods, honey, eggs, jams, juried crafts, and fine art. The market runs from 7am to 1pm on Tuesdays from May to September and 7am to 2pm on Saturdays from March to November.
Razorback Regional Greenway is a 37.6 miles off road trail. It connects Walker Park in Fayetteville to north of Lake Bella Vista in Bella Vista, Arkansas. The route follows three historically significant routes: Butterfield Overland Mail route, Civil War routes, and the Trail of Tears.
