Great Lakes Aquarium located on Duluth waterfront features over 205 different species of fish, birds, reptiles, amphibians and mammals. The 2-story aquarium offers many hands-on activity for children of all ages. The aquarium exhibits include Amazing Amazon, Aquatic Invaders, Baptism River, Critter Corner, Freshwater Forest, Global Connections, H2O: Watersheds at Work, Isle Royale, Origins, Otter Cove, Raptor Ridge, Shipwrecks Alive!, St. Louis River, and Unsalted Seas.
Sea Life at Mall of America located in the Mall of America features 1.3 million gallon water including thousands of freshwater and salt water creatures. The aquarium exhibits include Underwater Tunnel, Brave the Rainforest, Coral Caves Ray Lagoon, and Pacific Northwest Rockpool. The 300 foot long underwater tunnel is the prime attraction of the Sea Life aquarium. The four different underwater tunnel offers up close and personal view of 9ft long Sandtiger Sharks, sea turtles, 14ft long Green Sawfish, and hundreds of aquatic creatures. Other attractions and hand-on activities include Feed The Stingrays, Creature Talks & Feedings, and Behind-the-Scenes Tours.
SeaQuest Roseville is a 20,000 square feet aquarium that features over 1,200 animals from five continents. SeaQuest 36,000 gallon exhibit includes reef sharks, stingrays & hundreds of tropical fish. Visitors can also touch, feed, and interact with animals. The aquarium offers various hands-on activities including hand-feeding sharks, stingrays, birds & tropical animals. SeaQuest also offers packages to host and celebrate birthday parties or private events.
Discovery Bay aquarium located in Minnesota Zoo features Coral Reef, Sand Tiger Sharks, Rescued Sea Turtles, and Stingray. The aquarium offers opportunity to touch sharks, rays, sea stars and sea anemones in the interactive estuary and tide pool. The aquarium exhibits include six sand tiger sharks and three female southern stingrays on display. It also includes many rescued and rehabilitated animals.
