Located near Madison, Clifty Falls State Park is known for its waterfalls and canyons. The park features Clifty Creek, Little Clifty Creek, and a canyon in which the sun only shines during midday. The upper rim of the canyon at the north end of the park is descending to the valley of the Ohio River over one of the two Clifty Falls. Park includes four named waterfalls: 60 feet Big Clifty Falls, 60 feet Little Clifty Falls, 78 feet Hoffman Falls, and 83 feet Tunnel Falls.
