National Civil Rights Museum dedicated to American Civil Rights Movement is located at the former Lorraine Motel, where civil rights leader Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. was assassinated. The museum features interactive exhibits, historic collections, dynamic speakers and special events. Permanent exhibits of the museum include 260 artifacts, more than 40 new films, oral histories, and interactive media. The museum's collection include historic objects, documents and images related to American Civil Rights Movement, African-American history and international human rights.
