Graceland is a mansion once owned by American singer, musician and actor Elvis Presley. The mansion is the 2nd most visited house in the U.S. after the White House. The mansion has 23 rooms including eight bedrooms and bathrooms. The tour of 120 acres Graceland Mansion includes view of Elvis' living room, Jungle Room, Vernon Presley's business office, Trophy Building, Racquetball Building, and Meditation Garden.
Beale Street located in downtown is a major tourist attraction in Memphis. Known for history of blues music, the street is popular for blues clubs and restaurants. The 1.8 miles street runs from the Mississippi River to East Street. Beale Street is also popular for festivals and concerts throughout year.
Sun Studio, known as the birthplace of rock & roll is a recording studio of Memphis opened in 1950. Today, the museum pays tribute to musical legends and genres of the 50's: B.B. King, Howlin' Wolf and Ike Turner before Elvis, Johnny Cash, Carl Perkins, Jerry Lee Lewis, & Roy Orbison. The studio is open for 45 minute guided tours every day from 10am to 6pm.

National Civil Rights Museum dedicated to American Civil Rights Movement is located at the former Lorraine Motel, where civil rights leader Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. was assassinated. Permanent exhibits of the museum include 260 artifacts, more than 40 new films, oral histories, and interactive media. The museum's collection include historic objects, documents and images related to American Civil Rights Movement, African-American history and international human rights.
Memphis Zoo located in Midtown is home to more than 3,500 animals representing over 500 different species. The 76 acres zoo exhibits include African Veldt, Animals of the Night, Aquarium, Cat Country, China, Dragon's Lair, Herpetarium, Northwest Passage, Once Upon a Farm, Pelican Pool, Penguin Rock, Primate Canyon, Teton Trek, The Budgie House, Tropical Bird House, and Zambezi River Hippo Camp.
