Sun Studio, known as the birthplace of rock & roll is a recording studio of Memphis opened in 1950. Today, the museum pays tribute to musical legends and genres of the 50's: B.B. King, Howlin' Wolf and Ike Turner before Elvis, Johnny Cash, Carl Perkins, Jerry Lee Lewis, & Roy Orbison. The studio is open for 45 minute guided tours every day from 10am to 6pm.
