Palm Springs Aerial Tramway is the world largest rotating aerial tramway. It runs from Coachella Valley to the top of Mount San Jacinto at 8,516 ft. The 10 minutes ride in each directions offers scenic views of cliffs of Chino Canyon and San Jacinto Mountains. Palm Springs Air Museum (PSAM) is one of the top aviation museums located at the Palm Springs International Airport. PSAM exhibits aircraft from World War Two, Korea, and the Vietnam Wars. The museum features four themed hangars: The Pacific (Navy) Hangar, The European (Army) Hangar, Major General Kenneth P. Miles Hangar, and the smallest hangar feturing B-17 Flying Fortress.
Tahquitz Canyon is one of the beautiful protected nature preserve area of the Agua Caliente Indian Reservation. It was home of the Native American Cahuilla people.
