The Children's Museum of Indianapolis

Children's Museum of Indianapolis is the world's largest children's museum with over 130,000 artifacts and specimens. The museum has 5 floors of exhibits divided into the American Collection, the Cultural World Collection, and the Natural World Collection. The museum exhibit includes Take Me There: Greece, American POP, Power of Children, Stories from Our Community, Dinosphere, Beyond Spaceship Earth, ScienceWorks, Fireworks of Glass, Mini Masterpieces, Treasures of the Earth, Playscape, and All Aboard. Dinosphere exhibit features several species of dinosaurs. The museum also hosts performances and plays at the Lilly Theater.

Dinosphere

Dinosphere exhibit is located on the Lower Level and Level 1 of the museum. The exhibit is free with museum admission. The exhibit features several species of dinosaurs including Hypacrosaurus, Prenoceratops, Tyrannosaurus rex, Triceratops, Gorgosaurus, Maiasaura, Bambiraptor, Oviraptor, and Dracorex hogwartsia.


Carousel

Located on Level 4, Carousel rides are free for members and children under age 2; nonmember cost is $1 per ride.


Lilly Theater

Included free with museum admission, Lilly Theater offers live performances and plays.
