The 44-foot Cor-Ten steel Keeper of the Plains sculpture stands at the junction of the Arkansas and Little Arkansas. The sculpture is a symbol for the city of Wichita and a tribute to the Native American tribes. The base of the statue features displays of local tribes and several fire pits. Known as the Rings of Fire, the fire pits light up to illuminate the statue at night and run in 15-minute increments.
Located in downtown Wichita, Botanica Gardens is a 17 acres of beautiful gardens. The Botanica has 30 different themed gardens with each designed to display unique collection of plants. It features decorated collection of 50 elegant sculptures, 4,000 species of plants, flowing streams, fountains, and waterfalls. The themed gardens include tulip bulbs, daffodil bulbs, assortment of wildflowers and flowering shrubs. The garden with modern amenities is perfect venue for private events and weddings.

Kansas Aviation Museum indoor exhbits include Aviation Hall of Fame, Engine Room, Atrium, WWII Exhibit, Lattner Learning Center, Boeing: Science, Math, and History Learning Center, Ryan International Airlines Exhibit, Cessna Exhibit, Beechcraft Exhibit, Reading Library, Military Exhibit, Air Capital Theater, and Control Tower. It features many aircrafts including 1921 Laird Swallow, 1944 Beech Staggerwing, 1927 Swallow On Loan at Towne East Square Mall, 1931 Stearman Model 4D, 1930 Watkins Skylark, and 1951 Mooney Mite.
Great Plains Nature Center (GPNC) provide opportunity to learn about wildlife and plant species of the Great Plains Region. The center serves as a resource for environmental education for school, colleges, and universities. It features Kansas Wildlife Exhibit located in Central Riverside Park. The exhibit includes over 25 different species of native mammals, reptiles, and birds in eight displays. There is no admission fee to see the exhibit.
