Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art features collections of over 40,000 works of art. The museum is known for its extensive collection of art from every continent and culture. Located in Swope Park, Kansas City Zoo is home to more than 1700 animals. The 200 acres zoo is known for its world class exhibits. The zoo exhibits include Polar Bear Passage, The Congolese Rainforest, Helzberg Penguin Plaza, Stingray Bay, Orangutan Canopy, Tiger Trail, Discovery Barn, The Valley, and Great Ape House.
