The Grand Ole Opry is the venue for American country music stage concert. Grand Ole Opry House is the first venue opened in 1974. The Opry House hosts shows every Tuesday, Friday, Saturday, and occasionally Wednesday from February through October. The Grand Ole Opry House was home of the Country Music Association Awards from 1974 to 2004. The historic house is also site of the GMA Dove Awards. The Ryman Auditorium also host numerous concerts and events throughout the year.
The Parthenon as the centerpiece of Centennial Park is a full scale replica of the original Parthenon in Athens. Built in 1897, the 42 foot statue Athena was designed by architect William Crawford Smith as part of the Tennessee Centennial Exposition. Serving as an art museum, the Parthenon's permanent collection include group of 63 paintings by 19th and 20th century American artists on the lower level while the main level has the replica of the of the 42-foot statue Athena. The gallery spaces provide venue for variety of temporary shows and exhibits throughout year.
Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum located in downtown is one of the world's largest museums and research centers dedicated to the preservation and interpretation of American vernacular music. Known as "Smithsonian of country music", the museum includes dynamic galleries, archival storage, retail stores, event space. It features classrooms in the Taylor Swift Education Center, and performance space in the CMA Theater and Ford Theater, which regularly host live music and cultural events.
The Ryman Auditorium is the most famous live performance venue and former home of the Grand Ole Opry from 1943 to 1974. The historic building has maximum seating capacity of 2362. Self guided tour available every day from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM. The Ryman Auditorium host numerous concerts and events throughout the year. The Ryman has also served as a gathering place for the memorial services of many country music figures.
Belle Meade Plantation is a historic mansion and museum located in Belle Meade, Tennessee. The 30 acres site features museum, winery, and a restaurant. Belle Meade's grounds cover original Harding Cabin where Belle Meade began, a Dairy, a Gardener's House, a Carriage and Stable House built in 1892. Tours of the Mansion start every 30-45 minutes with the first tour at 9:30 a.m. and the last tour at 4:00 p.m. The mansion tour includes complimentary wine tastings.
Andrew Jackson's Hermitage is a historical museum located east of downtown Nashville. The Hermitage was home of Andrew Jackson, the seventh President of the United States. 1.5 hour guided tour offers opportunity to explore grounds and mansion and walk through Andrew Jackson's life and home.
Tennessee State Capitol built between 1845 and 1859 and is known for it's unique Greek Revival architecture. The building is one of 12 state capitols that does not have a dome. The Capitol grounds include statues of Andrew Jackson and Andrew Johnson. Visitors can tour the Capitol Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Nashville Zoo is a zoological park located 6 miles south of downtown Nashville. The 188 acres Zoo features 3,000 animals representing more than 350 different species. The zoo exhibits include Amphibians, Birds, Fish, Mammals, Reptiles, and Arthropods. The zoo also includes fun rides: Wild Animal Carousel, Soaring Eagle Zip Line, and Wilderness Express Train. Jungle Terrace Pavilion and Botswana Overlook can be rented for birthday and private events.

Centennial Park is Nashville's large urban park located west of downtown. The Centennial Sportsplex is prime attraction of the park. The 132-acre park features iconic Parthenon, Lake Watauga, Centennial Art Center, historical monuments, and walking trail. It also includes sand volleyball courts, events shelter, and arts activity center.
