Located in Brackenridge Park, 35-acre San Antonio Zoo is home to more than 3,500 animals representing 750 species. The zoo exhibit includes Bear Corner, Cat Grotto, Savanna, Outpost Amazonia, Kronkosky's Tiny Tot Nature Spot, Big Cat Valley, Gibbon Forest, Africa Plains, Africa Live, Friedrich Aquarium, Bird House, Amphibia, and Reptile House. The Friedrich Aquarium inside zoo is home to many fresh water and saltwater animals. Other attraction of the zoo includes Kiddie Park, Carousel ride, and Zoo Eagle Train ride.
Kiddie Park
Kiddie Park is children's amusement park located within San Antonio Zoo. Ride ticket is $3 per riding guest and $1 for non-riding guest. You can also purchase wristband for $12 and ride all of rides as many times as you want.
Zootennial Carousel
Carousel ride features 60 hand-painted animals and ticket is $3 per person.
Zoo Train
San Antonio Zoo Eagle train ride is $5 per person. The train carries visitors throughout Brackenridge Park and various stops include the Witte Museum, Kiddie Park, and the Japanese Tea Gardens.
